VidLode ("we", "our", or "us") operates the website vidlode.com (the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service.

Information We Collect

VidLode is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal data:

• URLs you submit: Video URLs are transmitted to our servers solely for the purpose of extracting download links. They are cached temporarily (10 minutes) for performance and are not permanently stored.
• Usage data: We use Cloudflare analytics to collect anonymous usage statistics (page views, request counts). No personally identifiable information is collected.
• Local storage: Your download history, language preference, and quality settings are stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB and localStorage. This data never leaves your device.

Cookies

VidLode does not use tracking cookies. We only use technically necessary cookies for session management via Cloudflare's infrastructure.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Cloudflare: For content delivery, DDoS protection, and anonymous analytics. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
• Google Fonts: For typography. Google may collect anonymous usage data per their privacy policy.

Data Security

We do not store video files on our servers. Download links provided by our service point directly to platform CDNs. All connections are encrypted via HTTPS.

Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed to anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
